Now the commercial buildings need more space,but the old masonry structure can not meet the functional requirements.A more reasonable solution to this problem is to transformating the building structure through the reconstruction and reinforcement technology with the wall.The composite beam of steel-brick masonry is suitable for the reinforcement and renovation of masonry structure.Because of the convenience of construction and the safety of structure,it can be widely used in practical engineering.The main research contents and achievements of this paper are as follows:1.Based on the existing reconstruction and reinforcement scheme with literature review and data analysis,the failure mode and failure mechanism of the composite beam are analyzed.The mechanical characteristics of the composite beam of steel-brick masonry are improved by means of embedded Angle steel.2.The stability and critical buckling load of steel plates on both sides are analyzed and calculated based on the energy method.3.Through the analysis of four different schemes,the load-strain relation,loaddeflection relation and ultimate bearing capacity of the composite beam under different working conditions are obtained,the formula of ultimate bearing capacity of composite beam with fixed Angle is concluded which verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the method.4.using the finite element software to take different solutions to reinforce composite beams so as to carry on the numerical analysis.The analysis shows that the solid Angle of embedded reinforcement way for improving the bearing capacity of composite beams,constraints on both sides of the plate deformation and improving the stability of the steel effect significantly,up and down the highest single Angle steel reinforcement scheme of material utilization.The benefit is the best.The research results of this paper can provide a new idea for the reinforcement and renovation project of masonry structure and provide certain theoretical support and technical reference for the reinforcement technology of embedded angle steel.
