Building Information Modeling(BIM)is a research hotspot in engineering circles both at home and abroad at the beginning of the 21st century.As a new generation of design concepts and technologies,it has been successfully applied by many famous buildings,structures,and construction companies at home and abroad.BIM technology is currently the most widely used in the construction industry,and the application research in bridge engineering has only just begun.Based on the experience of successful application of BIM technology in the construction industry,this paper attempts to apply BIM technology to the design of bridge projects.Aiming at the characteristics of large-span,high-strength,complex modeling and bridge construction informatization of bridge engineering,the innovative method of combining Dynamo visual programming with Revit based on Autodesk platform solved the BIM fine model of complex curved bridge with variable space curve.Build puzzles,and study and explore several key technical applications of BIM in the bridge engineering design phase.The main contents include:(1)Based on the research results of bridge engineering BIM technologies applied at home and abroad,the main types of bridges,bridge engineering applications,and major BIM platforms used in current BIM technologies are analyzed and summarized.The BIM platform core modeling software is compared.Compare the visual programming with the secondary development and analyze the similarities and differences between Dynamo and Grasshopper.On this basis,the BIM technology application and design optimization process in the bridge engineering design are proposed.(2)Based on Dynamo,a visual programming software,the difficulties in establishing BIM models of curved structures are analyzed.The algorithms and characteristics of the visual programming modeling for complex linear bridges are analyzed in detail,and linear variable cross-section bridges and curve-type arch bridges are used.For example,the analysis proposed a parameterized design method for bridge BIM model based on the combination of Revit and Dynamo.(3)Based on the above research methods for establishing a curve structure model,and further addressing the complex curved bridge of space curves,it explores and solves the problem of model construction during the conceptual design phase,and then deepens its conceptual model design,exploring and exploring BIM.The application of key technologies in such aspects as bridge design,preliminary design,and construction drawing design.(4)During the deepening design process,the collision between prestressed pipelines,the collision between prestressed pipelines and rebars,the difficulty in constructing complex steel reinforcement models,the deviation in the design of bridge piers and other issues were found,and the design was optimized.(5)For the optimized main beam structure,the finite element analysis of its structural strength and stiffness is performed for five main load combinations.
