The Research On Design Of Modern Home Products Based On Chinese Ancient Instrument Design Thinking

Since the 21 st century,people's lifestyle has undergone a qualitative leap.Home furnishing products are the most closely related product category to people's lives.In addition to satisfying the basic functions of products,users are increasingly demanding it.The aesthetic appearance of the model and the ease of use of the operation are all required for modern home furnishing product design.Due to the lack of design theory and practice,the existing design of our country has certain problems.At the same time,the " Designed by Chinese" proposal has had a great impact on the Chinese design industry.How to design a product with the characteristics of national culture has become a hot vocabulary in China's design community.China's modern home furnishing product design is also facing the same problem.How to find a design road with ethnic characteristics has become a problem that needs to be resolved.Ancient artifacts,as the products that are most closely related to people's daily life for thousands of years,have been coexisting harmoniously with people.This is the lack of quality of home furnishing products under the current state of mechanized production.Through the researches and analysis of ancient Chinese artifacts,the theoretical ideas applicable to the present are summed up to change the design status quo of modern products and give direction to the design of modern household products.This article summarizes and analyzes relevant materials in the field of Chinese ancient artifacts and modern home furnishing product design.First of all,through the analysis of the status quo and the design trends of modern home furnishing products design,we determine the feasibility and necessity of using Chinese ancient utensils design thinking to guide the design of modern home furnishing products;secondly,we study the ancient Chinese artifacts and analyze the “ self-serving ” that is contained in them.The design thinking of things,such as "intelligence" and "harmony between man and nature",finds the intersection of ancient artifact design and modern home product design,demonstrating whether or not ancient artifact design thinking can play a role in the design of home products in China.The role of guidance;Finally,through the selection and analysis of the design thinking of ancient artifacts,it is applied to modern home product design examples.The paper discusses that the design concepts and thinking patterns existing in Chinese ancient artifacts,and analyzes the current status and trends of the design of modern home furnishing products in China,hoping to provide an useful reference and guidance for Chinese design “nationalization” through the national design culture.
