In recent years,with the rapid development of virtual reality technology,this incomparable immersive viewing experience has gradually entered thousands of households and entered people's daily production and life.The experiencer only needs to wear the VR device to be in the virtual space,feeling and experiencing the virtual space from all angles.VR has opened an era of "seeing is not necessarily true."With the continuous development of the virtual reality industry,various virtual home decoration designs have sprung up,and such a status quo just proves that the emergence of virtual home improvement applications has brought a new way of thinking to the visual design of the traditional home improvement field.To a certain extent,it has brings tangible and reliable benefits to consumers and real estate companies.Since the consumer understands the designer's effect through the sketches of the frame drawn by the interior designer from the paper,the way to clearly express the effect of the home improvement design has been unable to break away from the image barrier.Nowadays,the virtual home decoration design breaks the static two-dimensional image effect and forms a three-dimensional visualization state.The customer can be free from the constraints of the spatial thinking imagination,more intuitively see the effect of the home decoration design and further feel the designer's concept and thinking.On the other hand,designers will not influence the introduction effect because of the difference of thinking mode between designers and customers.This way speeds up the communication between the designer and the customer.In the process of communication,the designer can modify the product plan in a timely and accurate manner according to the differences arising in the process of communication with the customer.This method greatly reduce the number of rework and the inconvenience caused by poor communication with the user.Taking the application of UE4(Unreal 4)engine as the entry point,this paper analyzes the design process and optimization method of virtual home improvement application by referring to the related literature in the field of virtual reality.Firstly,through the analysis of the domestic and international research status of virtual reality technology,the essence of virtual reality technology is deeply explored.Secondly,taking the Unity3 d and UE4 engines in the virtual reality field as examples,these engines used in virtual reality content development are outlined,and the important value of the UE4 engine for making virtual home decoration design applications is emphasized.Thirdly,through the research of real-time rendering technology of UE4 engine,an improved scheme is proposed for the ray tracing algorithm and image denoising algorithm used in real-time rendering process,so that ray tracing can reasonably delete part of pixels that need to be rendered during the real-time rendering process.During the noise reduction process,the similar image plane is reasonably optimized to make the rendering rate faster.Based on the above algorithm research,a plug-in application is made to the development of a specific virtual home improvement.Experiments show that real-time rendering efficiency can be improved to a certain extent,and the user's experience of the product is improved.Finally,combined with own research,the UE4 engine and the optimization algorithm plug-in were used to create an interactive application product for virtual reality home improvement design.
