| The existing DC circuit breakers are prone to overvoltage and high current when arc extinguishing. This phenomenon has brought great harm to equipment and circuit. In view of the main problems existing in existing circuit breakers,a new improvement scheme is proposed. The scheme is based on existing DC circuit breakers, and increases the arc extinguishing function by adding peripheral auxiliary circuits, and then increases the life of the equipment and the reliability of the use of electrical safety. The peripheral circuit is mainly composed of a resistor,a capacitor in series and an inductance to form a transfer current loop. When the circuit is short circuited, the main circuit breaker is broken. When the voltage of the main circuit breaker rises to a certain height, the switch of the transfer current loop is closed and the transfer current branch is connected. Then, the current in the main circuit and the oscillating current of the transfer current branch flow into the circuit breaker, when the current of the circuit breaker is zero point oscillating current, and the arc can be extinguished at zero according to the arc extinguishing characteristic of the AC current. When the main circuit breaker is extinguished, the current of the main circuit is completely transferred to the transfer current circuit. As the transfer current loop has the characteristics of under damped oscillation, the amplitude of the oscillating current and voltage gradually decreases to zero with time.In order to verify the correctness of the scheme, the Mayr arc model is established through MALANB software to simulate the circuit breakers, and the simulation results are analyzed. After the improvement, the effect of the circuit breaker in the arc extinguishing effect is obviously improved and the correctness of the scheme is verified.A small experiment is done, and the experimental results are analyzed. The correctness of the simulation is verified by the experimental analysis. At the same time, the feasibility of the scheme is verified. |
