It is an effective,reliable and low-cost unmanned power parafoil operating platform with characteristics of large payload,smooth flight,long flight time,safe and reliable,convenient take-off and landing and easy operation.Power parafoil can be widely used in reconnaissance,surveillance,leaflets,pesticides and other military or civilian areas.Based on the study of the flight characteristics and its control of the power parafoil,the dynamic and control of the power parafoil is studied by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.Some meaningful conclusions are obtained.1.The system composition of power parafoil is analyzed.According to the flight characteristics of the power parafoil and considering the influence of the apparent mass,the six degree of freedom motion model is established.2.Based on the six-degree-of-freedom model of the power parafoil,the flying characteristics,such as level flight,climbing and turning under the lateral wind are analyzed respectively,and the two cases are compared.The climbing rate of the power parafoil of different thrust,the turning radius of the different trailing edge drop were analyzed.At the same time,the influence of some important design parameters of the power parafoil is analyzed,verified the correctness of the design parameters.3.The composition and principle of the control system of the power parafoil are analyzed.According to the aerodynamic characteristics and the structure of the power parafoil,the corresponding control strategy is established.The longitudinal control and lateral control of the power parafoil were studied respectively.the influence of the vertical wind to the longitudinal control and lateral wind to the lateral control are analyzed and simulated.4.For dynamic parafoil time lag and the characteristics of the lateral control,the lateral nonlinear control method are applied in the power parafoil trajectory track and simulation calculation are carried out.The study accomplished in this paper could provide references to design,analysis and research on relative problems of power parafoil system.
