Abstract/Summary:
CBU-103 [Combined Effects Munition] counts for a large proportion in the weapon list of the WCMD series in United States.Result from Spinning dispersion technique it applies,CBU-103 have a lot of merits,such as simplicity of dispense device and lower cost,but there are more complicated variables in the process of spinning dispersion,so the decision-making scheme is more complex.This article aim at researching and designing an adaptive decision-marking methodology,and finding complete correction for guided cluster munitions,which apply spinning dispersion technique,in order to improve the hit accuracy.First,kinematics model and dynamics model of the guided cluster munitions are established.According to the CBU-103,we established three-dimensional model by UG,then calculated and analyzed the major typical aerodynamic parameters by CFX.Second,we designed guidance law and control loop,then developed the regularities of data distribution at the terminal trajectory,by six-degree simulation in typical releasing condition.Third,we analyzed the spinning characteristics of the cluster munitions by CFD.By means of kinematical model and dynamical model of dispersion,three-degree ballistic simulation was conducted with typical terminal trajectory parameters.At length,we researched the relationship between the initial dispersion parameters,the spinning characteristics of the cluster munitions,and the dispersing parameters of submunition.In the end,we estimated the flight distance of submunition after leaving the cabinet,in term of dispenser’s altitude,velocity,trajectory obliquity,and also estimated spinning time of the munition.Compared with the practical range-to-go of the cluster munition,the project of open dispensing decision-marking was founded.The simiulation result showed that this method could improve the accuracy.
