With the development and progress of science and technology,people's demand for high-speed power transmission source in the production activities has become increasingly urgent.High-speed motor have been widely used as a high-speed power source,in the field of fly-wheel energy storage,textile,high-speed grinding machine,aerospace,distributed energy and other fields.High-speed permanent magnet synchronous motor not only meets people's requirements on the motor speed but also on its own high efficiency and high power density advantages.It can achieve the effect of energy saving and environmental protection.Different from the traditional motor operating conditions and design requirements,in high-speed conditions,high-speed synchronous motor have a more stringent and demanding requirements on the electromagnetic design and mechanical strength checks.The main work of this paper is designing a high-speed permanent magnet synchronous motor,with the 132 kW rated power and 18750 rpm rated speed,for the application of air compressor,and completes the prototype processing and the experimental research.At first,this paper conducted a detailed analysis on a variety of types of high-speed motor,on the basis of the full investigation of domestic and international high-speed motor development status and motor design technology.And do a thorough research on the performance requirements and design difficulties of high-speed permanent magnet synchronous motor.Having carefully examined the performance requirement of the HSPMM in air compressor beforehand,this paper gives a preliminary design on electromagnetic loading,stator and rotor structure with the help of field-circuit calculation software SPEED and FEA software Ansoft.After many trials of optimal design,the geometry as well as electromagnetic parameters and performances are ultimately determined are ultimately determined.To meet the stability and reliability requirements of the HSPMM,when it's running at high speed in the air compressor,this paper conducted a further study,using the ANSYS Workbench,of the magnetic bridge and the slot edge of permanent magnet of the rotor.And then this paper completed the structure parameter design and strength check.Finally,the experimental prototype is built and tested.The results of prototype tests have shown that the motor design has basically reached its goal.
