The optical absorber is a kind of optoelectronic devices that can absorb light effectively.It has potential applications in photovoltaic cells,sensors,filtering,imaging,thermal radiation and thermal detection.It is important to study the optical absorber based on the optical tamm states(OTS).As a new surface wave mode,OTS has good optical properties in one-dimensional photonic crystal heterojunction structures and metal-DBR structures.The optical absorber based on OTS has the advantages of small size and high absorptivity.In this paper,the performance of OTS in metal-DBR-metal structure is studied.A multi-frequency absorber based on OTS is designed.The main research contents include:Firstly,based on the physical structure of metal-DBR,the mechanism of OTS in the metal-DBR structure is studied.The optical properties of OTS are studied by changing the period of DBR,the thickness of the metal film,the thickness of the top layer and the angle of the incident light.Secondly,based on the analyses of OTS of the metal-DBR-metal structure,the coupling effect of OTS is studied.There are two kinds of coupling phenomena in metal-DBR-metal structures when the period is different.The characteristics of OTS are studied by adjusting several structural parameters,such as the thickness of metal film,the thickness of top layer and the angle of the incident light.The coupling effect of OTS under different conditions is summarized with reasonable explanations.Finally,a multi-frequency absorber based on M-DBR-M-DBR-M is proposed.The number of absorption frequencies can be adjusted by changing the periods of DBR.The absorption wavelength can be adjusted by changing the thickness of top layer and the angle of the incident light.The absorber is easy to be fabricated with simple structure,and it performs well with high absorptivity.It has potential applications on optical integrated circuits and solar cells and other fields.
