The non-stop electronic toll collection system(ETC)is the most advanced and efficient way of road and bridge charging in the world.In recent years,a lot of researches have been done on how to improve the success rate of ETC lane and vehicle speed,but most of them are on how to improve the performance of hardware devices or optimize software algorithms.A single increase in some aspects of the performance can indeed improve the corresponding performance,but after the system integration,the overall performance often fails to achieve the desired goal.In this paper,the system theory is used to optimize the performance of ETC system from multiple perspectives,and achieve the goal of improving the success rate,stability and transaction time-saving of ETC system without the need to rebuild the hardware equipment.Thus,improving the overall performance of the system.First of all,according to the regional characteristics and climatic characteristics of Heilongjiang Province,this paper mainly tests the low temperature performance of the road side unit(RSU)and on board unit(OBU)of the main hardware equipment of ETC system.The RSU provided by each manufacturer and the OBU provided by all manufacturers are simulated and traded at a low temperature.The average success times and average transaction times of the RSUs of each manufacturer and the OBUs of all manufacturers are obtained,and the RSUs of manufacturers with good overall performance are taken as Integrated equipment.Similarly,each manufacturer's OBU and all manufacturers of RSU simulated transactions in low temperature environment,the average success times and average transaction times of the OBUs of each manufacturer and the RSUs of all manufacturers are obtained,finally,select the OBU equipment with good overall performance in low temperature environment as the electronic tagging equipment used in our province.Secondly,on the basis of selecting the main equipment,the integration of equipment,the layout of lanes and the logic optimization of the software are optimized.According to the characteristics of our province and combined with the engineering practice,we adopt the design plan of dual antenna Lane layout to improve the passing rate of vehicles and improve the passing speed of vehicles.Further,the traditional six coil layout scheme is optimized to eight coil mode,and it has got good effect in preventing the problems of car and queue interference.Finally,the scientific statistics and analysis of the running data of some ETC lanes are carried out.The data were analyzed on average,standard error,standard deviation,variance,skewness,kurtosis and reference range,and the comprehensive performance and system stability of the corresponding ETC lane were compared.So as to guide the construction of the project and the hidden danger of ETC lane detection and rectification.Finally,the purpose of optimizing the entire ETC system is achieved.
