Electric traction has become the chief choice of high-speed rail traction due to its large power,clean and pollution-free.As an important part of the traction power supply system of electrified railway,overhead contact system has a higher probability of causing the fault to happen on account of the particularity of the design and the service object.Once the overhead contact system breaks down,which will affect the operation of the train,and even disrupt the order and plan of the whole transportation,influencing the passengers' normal travel,what's more,it can cause significant losses on the safety production.Therefore,it is necessary to use the prognostics and health management technology of the overhead contact system.According to the references at home and abroad,this paper summarizes the development and the core technology of prognostics and health management as well as a brief description on the development trend of high speed railway overhead contact system of prognostics and health management.Through a long-time field investigation,a large number of fault cases of overhead contact system are searched,analyzed and classified so that several important parameters that affect the health of the overhead contact system can be found.Each parameter merely considered does not well reflect the comprehensive health status of the contact system,so the method that comprehensively evaluates the health status of the overhead contact system can be formed by using fuzzy mathematics and other modern information processing ways that process several important parameters of overhead contact detection data,and applying the entropy theory to dig the hidden information in detection data to determine the evaluation indexes weights.The results show that the method is effective using actual data.Finally,through the use of the latest detection methods to detect several important parameters affecting the health of the overhead contact system,combining the corresponding maintenance level for health management,the author puts up with the current problems and presents the method of overhead contact fault database archives and the dynamic overhead contact database according to the data set,with Access 2007 as the background database to build a system database,ADO database connection technology to establish management system,and with the help of Visual Basic 6.0 excellent visualization program development environment programming system procedure.The database can be more intuitive understanding of the parameters on the effect of overhead contact system health and more easier to demonstrate the demonstrating law that can reveal health status of overhead contact system,thus the conclusion that failure rate of the contact system can be greatly reduced will be drawn.
