Injection molding to encapsulate vehicle glass not only improve the overall efficiency of vehicle production,also enhance the strength of automotive glass,improving sealability,reducing noise.Because of insert glass,automotive glass sometimes cracks on injection plastic actual production.So,it needs to study in depth the important assues which can reduce pressure on insert glass,by reducing plastic warpage,and optimizing molding process parameters.The main contents are as follows.(1)The principle of injection plastic to wrap automotive glass,researching status at home and abroad are introduced.The theory of injection plastic,and the current mainstream injection molding CAE technologies which have been used are also explained.It is the basis for the next simulation base.(2)The parts which are extracted from 3D model are repaired and simplified for convenient subsequent processing.And then,the simplified model is introduced into the Moldflow to divide the grid and repair the defects.Set up actual production process parameters in Moldflow,complete the simulation,analyze the main causes of the warpage of plastic parts,and propose improvement measures.(3)It is introduced that the main production process of injection molding to encapsulate glass and performance of materials and equipment which is used in actual production.It also provides reference for choosing parameter range of optimization analysis next.Then using the ATOS optical scanner collect the surface point cloud data of the plastic parts and compare the actual warpage with the theoretical warp,which verities the correctness of the finite element mold established in this paper.And it also shows it is feasible to use the Moldflow software to do the simulation.(4)Taking single-factor experimental method get the influence of each single factor change on the warpage of the insert glass.And taking multi-factors Taguchi orthogonal experiment obtain the best combination of injection molding technology from analyzing of the range and variance results of different combinnations.It is obtained the effect of various process parameters on the warpage of injection molding inserts that is the following descending order: packing pressure,melt temperature,injection time,coolant temperature,cooling time,holding time.Research shows it can be done to effectively reduce the warpage of molding part and reduce the stress received by the insert glass that use of orthogonal experimental methods combined with CAE technology,and it can also guide the actual repair and debugging.
