According to the characteristics of multi-material mixture,taking the asphalt mixture as an example,the defects of the commonly used numerical algorithms in calculating the mechanical response of asphalt mixtures are discussed.A new numerical method for large deformation and cracking calculation of multi-material mixture is proposed,which combines the characteristics of the discontinuous deformation analysis method(DDA),the numerical manifold method(NMM)and the meshless method.The core idea of this new numerical method is to subdivide the mathematical coverage function and define a general mathematical coverage which can reflect the coordination of various material displacements.The algorithm uses DDA method to consider the displacement,deformation of aggregates and the contact effect between aggregates,while the coordination between aggregate and asphalt is considered through the mathematical coverage of NMM.The unification of the approximate displacement functions of continuous and discontinuous materials ensures the continuity of the displacement of different materials at the interface.According to the principle of minimum potential energy,the general equilibrium equation and various submatrix expressions are established.From the similarity of the NMM and the meshless interpolation function,the exponential weight function is selected,and the interpolated function is established with the 0 order moving least square method.The lattice retrieval method is used to judge the particle contact relationship,and the numerical integral of each submatrix is calculated by the node integration scheme,and the LU decomposition method is used to solve the whole linear equation group.Based on the CBLAS and CLAPACK libraries,the paper uses C language to compile continuous-discontinuous calculation program called MIA.Through a variety of static and dynamic examples,the correctness of the model is validated.The numerical results show that the unified calculation model presented in this paper is reasonable and effective.It is fully applicable to the mechanical calculation of multi-material mixtures,and the efficiency of this method is outstanding.
