Due to the complex traffic environment and many factors involved in high-speed lane change,it is easy to cause mistakes in driving operations and traffic accidents.Advanced Driver Assistance System can avoid the adverse consequences caused by sensory,decision-making or insufficient reaction capacity.However,regardless of the type of driving assistance,if the drivers' personalized operating style is violated,it will affect the normal operation of the drivers,and even cause the driver conflict with the assistance system.In this paper,taken the vehicle's lane-change process in the highway as the research object,it studied on the evaluation methods of personalized driving style and safety awareness level of drivers,and designed a personalized lane changing assistance strategy,to improve the fitness degree between lane changing assistance and drivers based on the premise of vehicle safety and stability.This paper completed the following research works.(1)In order to understand the kinematic characteristics of the lane-change process accurately,it extracted and conducted the preprocess for the lane change trajectory data based on NGSIM data set,and presented a method of lane change process partition based on the lateral velocity recognition.(2)It made the anatomy for characteristics of vehicle lane-change dynamics,extracted the relevant factors that characterize personalized driving characteristics,conducted the correlation analysis by means of statistical methods,formulated the personalized driving criterion,and verified the rationality and feasibility of the criterion by the measured data in real traffic.(3)Based on the integration of dynamic characteristics and personalized driving criteria,it analyzed the relevant factors affecting driving safety,formulated the minimum safety distance in the extreme case based on the driving risk evaluation index,and designed the driving risk evaluation method and flow.(4)Combined the adaptive control model and the discrete vehicle dynamics model,fused the security,personalization and comfortableness as the optimization performance indicators,it designed a lane change assistance strategy and the typical lane changing conditions under the simulation environment of Matlab/Simulink,and established a lane change assistance simulation platform.Finally,it verified the rationality and feasibility of the lane change assistance strategy with the aid of simulation experiment.The simulation results show that the presented methods of personalized driving and risk evaluation could effectively distinguish the personalized driving characteristics and safety awareness levels of different drivers,and the presented lane changing assistance strategy could be more beneficial to the comprehensive optimization of safety,comfortableness and personalized driving.
