Through shipbuilders’ unremitting efforts in recent years,Chinese shipbuilding industry has stepped into the leading ranks in the world.However,in view of core construction technology and management level,there is still a gap compared with Japan and South Korea,in which long ship construction cycle is the most perceivable reflection.Thus reforming construction technology and improving management level are the two main goals to enhance the competitiveness of Chinese shipbuilding industry,and also an effective way to shorten the shipbuilding cycle.Most of shipyards have changed into the lean shipbuilding mode,and achieved good results by using pallet management into outfitting.The problems of ship parts and coatings management is a common problem in our shipyards.Therefore,applying pallet management into the hull and painting has a very significant research meaning by referring to the method of outfitting management.Taking how to make the successor jobs forward and reduce the preceding jobs move backwards into consideration by combining outfitting pallet management and lean shipbuilding,pallet treatment of hull and coating are carried out respectively to realize the full pallet management in shipyards,and in order to make the material flow smoothly and shorten the construction period.The main contents are as follows:(1)Through analytic study about pallet management theory,building the full pallet management;(2)Based on full pallet management mode and the principle of work breakdown,taking the antecedent stage of ship construction as an example to put forward a new scheme of work breakdown accord with full pallet management;(3)Studying the principles and properties of CONWIP control,and taking pipe production as an example to build simulation model,a new method for determining the optimal loop and WIP input is proposed,and the effectiveness of CONWIP control is also verified;(4)Taking a section of 17.5DWT bulk carrier as an example to build full pallet work breakdown simulation model based on Petri net and layer structure modeling technology,the CONWIP control is used to eliminate the blocking problem in work breakdown,and it also verify the advantage of shifting work quantity forward.Based on the current situation of domestic and overseas shipyards,the full pallet management mode and full pallet work breakdown scheme are put forward in this article,and CONWIP control method is also applied into shipbuilding process.It has an important practical significance to promote work forward,reduce stacking of components and parts,and shorten the construction cycle.At the same time,the advantages of shifting work quantity forward was also verified through simulation technology scheme,which will play an important supporting role in carrying out future intelligent shipbuilding in our country.
