In modern warfare,it is particularly important to improve the performance of the beyond-the-horizon reconnaissance system in order to direct the weapons and equipment for long-range precision attack.Compared with the means of over-the-horizon reconnaissance,such as shore base over-the-horizon radar,reconnaissance aircraft and reconnaissance satellite,the ship borne over-the-horizon reconnaissance and positioning system has the advantages of flexible station,all-weather work,low cost and wide range of early warning.In this paper,the detection of the tropospheric scattering signals,the over-the-horizon direction finding and positioning algorithm,the false location elimination of multi ship cooperative location and the optimization of the distribution station are studied.The scattering propagation mechanism and propagation principle of troposphere are introduced in this paper.By analyzing the relationship between the transmission loss of tropospheric scattering and the frequency and distance of the signal,it is found that the attenuation of the tropospheric scattering signal is serious.It is necessary to use high gain antenna and high sensitivity receiver to detect the scattering signal,such as array antenna and digital beamforming technology.The digital beam forming technology is introduced,and the coordinate compensation method for the warship swing is given.In order to improve the response speed of the tropospheric scattering signal in the over-the-horizon reconnaissance,and to further reduce the calculation error,a new direction finding orientation algorithm is proposed in this paper.The calculation error of the algorithm and the influencing factors of the location precision of the algorithm are analyzed.The simulation results show that the azimuthal orientation algorithm has the characteristics of small calculation error and fast reaction speed,which is suitable for engineering applications compared with the existing algorithm.In view of the fact that the joint direction finding and positioning of multiple warship reconnaissance stations in warship formation often appear false positioning points,the data of various reconnaissance stations are correlated before the location calculation,and then a kind of elimination is put forward to eliminate the false location points caused by the related errors and make use of the large distance between the false location points.A new method of false location.The simulation results show that the method is simple and effective,and has certain practical value.In order to improve the accuracy of the over the horizon positioning and guide the naval ship formation station,the method of weighted fusion positioning is used to solve the results of multi ship coordination positioning.This method can effectively reduce the positioning error.Through the simulation of the error distribution of different number of reconnaissance stations in different distribution stations,the advantages and disadvantages of different distribution stations are summarized,which can provide reference for the cooperative location of the optimal distribution stations.
