X-ray pulsar is a natural celestial bodies,the signal cycle stability,widely distributed,like cosmic lighthouses.As a new navigation method,X-ray pulsar navigation can provide navigation information such as position,velocity and time for spacecraft,and has a good development prospect.This article will study the spacecraft orbit determination method for X-ray pulsars.The main research contents include:Firstly,the related theories of X-ray pulsar navigation are introduced,including the physical characteristics of pulsars,space-time reference frame and pulsar time phase model.Secondly,based on the characteristics of X-ray pulsar signals and its observation characteristics,the X-ray pulsars signal is simulated and the observation pulse profile was drawn,and the visibility of the X-ray pulsar is analyzed.Thirdly,from the basic principle of X-ray pulsar navigation,the X-ray pulsar geometric orbit determination is simulated and verified,and an Extended Kalman filter algorithm and the orbital dynamics model was used to simulate and validate the X-ray pulsar dynamic orbit determination method.Finally,the method of orbit determination for single pulsar is studied.The dynamic model of spacecraft is combined with the pulsar observation.The method of dynamic orbit determination for single pulsar is simulated and the method is improved.The single detector is studied.Multi-period observational methods for orbit determination of different pulsars.At present,the X-ray pulsar navigation technology is still at an exploratory stage.The relevant theories are still not mature and the conclusive results are lacking.It is still necessary to carry out in-depth research on related theories.In this paper,through the simulation of multisatellite orbit determination method and single-satellite orbit determination method,the navigation performance analysis of X-ray pulsars is preliminarily presented,which has certain reference value for future research on pulsar navigation.
