With the continuous improvement of the national railway network and the global railway construction trade,China's railway development will continue to lead the world.And the electric traction will naturally become the main way of trunk transport.Due to the complexity of the railway operation network,the operation reliability of the electrified high-speed railway,the quick diagnosis of the fault and the rapid recovery of operation has great significance for the electrified railway transportation.In the traction power supply system,is common that the transmission line parameters of the frequency-dependent phenomenon.The rail,an important part of the traction network,which is not only bear the back flow of traction,but also transmits rich traveling wave signal.But the special material and irregular cross-section shape make the frequency-dependent phenomenon is particularly serious in rail.The dispersion phenomenon caused by the circuit parameters of fault traveling wave frequency-dependent phenomenon will cause a distortion of the traveling wave head and wave velocity can not be sure,and then affecting the accuracy of traveling wave fault location.In order to improve the accuracy of fault location,it is an important subject to study the frequency-dependent phenomenon of the conductor parameters in traction network and transient behavior of traction network.Firstly,this paper analyses and summarizes the existing traveling wave fault location theory,and analyses the influence on traveling wave transmission in traction of the conductor parameters frequency-dependent phenomenon in traction network and interference on the traveling wave fault location accuracy.In order to have a accurate numerical calculation of the traction power network line resistance,inductance and capacitance parameters while considering the effect of the frequency-dependent phenomenon in rails,the primary difficulties to calculate the frequency-dependent parameters of the rail are ferromagnetic characteristics and irregular cross section shape.And then comprehensive comparison of existing feasiblemethods of calculating frequency-dependent parameters in rails,by using the finite element simulation software to realize the rail frequency variable parameter calculation,thus obtains the full frequency traction electric network parameters accurately.There is a merging calculation to get the multi wire of the uplink and downlink AT traction network into six phase coupled parameters under different frequency.The approximate iteration of eigenvectors realized by Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm can guarantee the smooth continuity of phase transformation matrices,and the computation results show that the traveling wave characteristics of mode 5 and mode 6 are stable,which are suitable for the study of transient traveling wave in traction network.
