As an important mode of transportation,China's high-speed railway attracts worldwide attention due to the great achievements it has made in recent years.Its brake wheel production is a key technology,but due to the short development time and the brake wheel assembly requirements,at present,there is no complete set of automation equipment in China that can realize the assembly of brake wheels.Because the machine vision system can increase the degree of automation and intellectualization of automation equipment,become an important part of it.This project comes from the actual needs of the domestic railway equipment company.Based on the brake wheel auto-assembly line,researches its machine vision system.In this paper,the following work is carried out:Firstly,the function of the vision system is analyzed according to the design requirements of the brake wheel automatic assembly line,and according to the results of the analysis completed the design of the vision system solution,including the research of the detection principle,the design of the testing process,the calculation of important parameters and so on.Secondly,according to the solution to complete the corresponding image processing program design and algorithm development.Focused on the analysis of the four key algorithms: bolt positioning algorithm,brake disk identification algorithm,binocular ranging algorithm and positioning pin matching algorithm.Thirdly,designing hardware and software for vision systems.According to the requirements of the solution complete hardware selection and hardware platform construction;Completed software program design including image processing module,communication module and image acquisition module.Finally,complete the on-site commissioning of the vision system.Through constant discovery,problem solving,and repeated optimization,ensure the successful operation of the vision system.The result of the operation shows,The visual system of the brake wheel auto assembly line has successfully implemented its corresponding functions,ensuring the continuous and stable operation of the assembly line and achieving the desired design goals.
