Laser gyroscope is an angular accelerometer based on the principle of sagnac effect which has simple structure,high reliability and long life.However,since the backscattering generated by the reflector causes the blocking threshold of the laser gyroscope.Thus the navigation accuracy of laser gyroscope is seriously affected.In terms of the fundamental research on solving the locking threshold,China has been using foreign scattering theory.The scattering problem based on the reflector substrate of the laser gyroscope and optical surface analysis code are rarely involved in China.In order to improve the blocking threshold of the laser gyroscope,this project mainly studied the following aspects:The theoretical basis thereof was studied and the formula thereof derived.The element surface characterized with the power spectral density function was introduced to derive the formula for the calculation of the power spectral density function with the test data.The difference between the power spectral density functions calculated with the data obtained with different measuring instruments was analyzed.The scattering results calculated with different scattering theories were compared with the actual scattering conditions by means of scattering measurement experiment.The scattering model suitable for the reflector substrate of the laser gyroscope was determined.The operating principle of the laser gyroscope was derived first by introducing the backscattering of its reflector.Code programming was completed with a determined scattering model as the fundamental formula of optical surface analysis code.Meanwhile,the code was provided with a user interface,which simplified the human-computer interaction.The completed optical surface analysis code was used to analyze the impacts of the shape and side length of the laser gyroscope,laser wavelength and the shape of its reflector on the blocking threshold.The method to evaluate the reflector surface quality of the laser gyroscope was determined.Finally,the evaluation method determined with optical surface analysis code was used to conduct the orthogonal experiment on the surface polishing of optical elements.The laser gyroscope reflector substrate material,dissolved quartz and glass ceramics were used as the optical element material in the experiment.The impacts of the rotational speed of the polishing disk,polishing pressure and the concentration of the polishing agent on optical element surface were analyzed respectively.The polishing process parameters were optimized,thus the optimal elements with higher surface quality and smaller backscattering coefficient were obtained.
