Removing the thin cloud in remote sensing satellite image is an important way to improve the utilization ratio of the image.In this paper,based on the analysis of the characteristics of wavelet multi-resolution analysis,the method of wavelet transform to remove the thin cloud is designed and verified by enhancing the information of high frequency and low frequency.Registration technology based on multi track images,and wavelet transform is proposed to remove the multi track image cloud algorithm;and then use Landsat8 OIL remote sensing image data as the experimental object,we finally do some experiments: the histogram equalization method,homomorphic filtering method,improved HOT method,Erdas Atcor2 method and the method based on the wavelet transform and the multi track image to remove thin cloud,verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.The paper first research the model of the formation of the thin cloud in remote sensing image,analyze its frequency domain characteristics.The surface information belongs to the high frequency region,and the thin cloud information belongs to the low frequency region.Then,we analyze some existing thin cloud technologies,such as histogram equalization method,holomorphic filtering method,multi spectral HOT method.This paper based on wavelet transform algorithm to research the method to remove the thin cloud.Through the analysis of the characteristics of multi resolution analysis of wavelet,and then research the wavelet function,decomposition layers and other important parameters through experiments.To enhance the high frequency information of the earth's surface,suppression of low frequency information of cloud,a method using wavelet transform to remove the thin cloud from a single image is completed.Based on the research of the multi-track image registration and stitching,fusion and other related technologies,propose a method called remove thin cloud based on wavelet transform to image fusion,summarizes the process and algorithm.Finally,based on Landsat8 OIL remote sensing data as the test object,test some methods to remove the thin cloud,include histogram equalization method,holomorphic filtering method,improved HOT method,Atcor2 method and the method we propose.Through the subjective and objective evaluation parameters,we analysis the advantages and disadvantages of various methods.
