As the important hinge of force transferring in the steel frame system,the beam-to-column joints should meet the requirements of seismic performance such as strength,stiffness,so that the components can work together and ensure the effective transmission of the load.Steel beamcolumn joint with the External ring stiffening plate of Prefabricated construction transmit force clearly,it have a perfect seismic performance.In this paper,author propose a new joint which named by “Steel beam-column joint with the External ring stiffening plate of Prefabricated construction”,the low-cycle reciprocating load tests of the Steel beam-column joint with the External ring stiffening plate of Prefabricated construction were carried out,and the numerical analysis and theoretical calculation were combined to do a systematic research.The main research contents and results are summarized as follows:1.The low-cycle reciprocating loading tests of six Steel beam-column joint with the External ring stiffening plate of Prefabricated construction were carried out.The test parameters include axial compression ratio,type of steel tube column,beam bottom flange slab,angle steel connection,the steel pipe column structure.The test results show that: the Steel beam-column joint with the External ring stiffening plate of Prefabricated construction have high bearing capacity,stable stiffness degradation,good ductility and full hysteretic curves.The 5 parameters have different degrees of influence on the mechanical properties of the joints.2.Using the Matlab language to program the Bouc-Wen model,the restoring force model based on the Bouc-Wen model of Steel beam-column joint with the External ring stiffening plate of Prefabricated construction is obtained by adjusting the shape parameters,compared with the hysteretic curve and the skeleton curve of the joints obtained by the pseudo static test,the reasonableness of the recovery force model is verified,the theoretical reference is provided to study the nonlinear seismic response time history of this joint.3.Abaqus finite element software is used to analyze the three dimensional nonlinear finite element modeling of Steel beam-column joint with the External ring stiffening plate of Prefabricated construction.Using the same material properties,boundary conditions and loading system as test,author get the failure mode,strain distribution and hysteresis curve of this joint.Compared with the experimental results,the rationality of the finite element simulation results is verified,which provides an effective numerical simulation method for further studying the influence of other parameters on the mechanical properties of joints.
