Steel-concrete composite coupled wall system is a new composite structural system with steel coupling beam.Relevant theoretical results and experimental studies have been found that the structural system's seismic behavior is better than traditional reinforced concrete wall under strong earthquake action. It combimes the advantages of concrete and steel materials during earthquakes to achieve multi-line to defend earthquake. On the basis of the previous multi-storey steel-concrete composite coupled wall experimente,we explore a experimental scheme for the substructure of composite coupled walls(SCCW)which are economical and feasible,it can simulate the force and deformation between steel coupling beam and composite wall.It is easy to reflect the influence of different parameters on the seismic behavior of steel-concrete composite coupled wall system.According to code of ACI318-2011,AISC341-2010 and JGJ138-2016,the seismic design method of SCCW of steel coupling beam and composite shear wall yielding is proposed and three 1/3 scaled one and half storey specimens were tested under cyclic experiments until to failure. The behavior of specimens with different steel plate connection and ratio of steel plate to concealed column, including experimental phenomenon and failure mode,load-displacement relationship, ductility, energy disspation, stiffness degradation, interstory drift, shear force and deformation of steel coupling beam were examined.Such seismic behaviors as carrying capacity, deformation capacity and energy dissipation capacity are evaluated.Test results indicated that the new system dissipates energy by shear deformation of steel beams and plastic hinge deformation at the bottom of wall,so the seismic behavior of walls can be significantly improved.SCCW with high-strength bolts present an excellent seismic behavior, and it is not weaker than SCCW with whole steel plate. After increasing the ratio of steel plate to concealed column, the performance in the early phase is weaker than the basic specimen, but the steel plate plays an important role in the final phase to improve seismic behavior of SCCW.Finally,in order to further understand the seismic behavior of the SCCW,three finite element modeling of ABAQUS are established by reasonable constitutive model, the meshing type, the meshing densities, the contact way and the boundary condition based on SCCW experimental results. It was confirmed that the finite element modeling and method is a reliable and accurate technique because the simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental results.
