Because the hot stamping technology has unique advantages in the lightweight and anti-collision ability of the whole vehicle,the application of this technology in the automobile body covering parts is becoming more and more widely.Both at home and abroad have conducted in-depth research on this technology,but the domestic late start in the field and the technological blockade,leading to the development of domestic technology is not as mature as abroad.Based on the self-designed hot stamping equipment,this paper carries out the experimental research on the hot stamping process of boron steel B1500 HS,with the thickness of 1.2mm,for U-shaped parts,which provides a reference for the reasonable setting and adjustment of the hot stamping process parameters in industrial production.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1)The austenitizing experiment of the steel plate for testing.With the tensile strength,hardness and elongation of the sheet after quenching as experimental indexes and the heating temperature and holding time as experimental factors,the austenitizing experiment of boron steel for testing was carried out and the optimum heating temperature and holding time was determined.2)The orthogonal experiment of forming and holding process for U-shaped parts.With the hardness,springback and cycle time of the part as the experimental indexes,and the initial forming temperature,punching speed,holding pressure,holding time as the experimental factors,the orthogonal experiment of forming and holding process in hot stamping for U-shaped parts was designed.Obtained the influence degree of each factor,the optimal level of each factor,the significant factors,the optimal combination of factors for each experimental index.Finally,determined the optimal combination of experimental factors for all experimental indexes by using the comprehensive balance method,and then experimental verification was carried out.3)On the basis of the optimal combination of orthogonal experiment,with the cycle time,the temperature drop rate of the plate,springback,microstructure,and hardness as the experimental indexes,the forming and holding process experiment in hot stamping for U-shaped part was carried out based on the control variable method,to explore the change rule of the experimental indexes when the level of each experimental factor changes independently.
