With the development of the economy and the progress of the society,power energy have been widely used in various industries,occupying a higher proportion of the consumption of terminal energy as an indispensable energy of the human society.As the carrier of power energy transmission,the power grid system is becoming much more complex,putting forward a higher demand on power transmission and distribution.With the development of smart equipment and electronic transformer and the application of advanced Internet communication technology in the power system,smart grid has become an important trend in the development of international power grid.And as the important foundation of the smart grid,the smart substation plays not only an important role in the substation,but also in collecting and sharing information,which is of great significance to the smart control and global control of the power grid.Firstly,this dissertation first introduces the background and significance of the research,and the necessity of the construction of the 110 kV smart substation in Funing according to the actual situation of the development of power network in Funing and the problems in the operation of the power grid.Combined with the existing research literature,the research status and development trend of smart grid and smart substation at home and abroad are summarized.Then,based on the actual situation of the development of the power grid in Funing,Yancheng,Jiangsu,the construction quantity and scale of the power plant and the voltage grade substation in this area,as well as the load situation are analyzed.According to the needs of local power grid development,a primary system of Jiangwei 110 kV smart substation has been designed.The location of substation is selected,and the scheme and scale of the smart substation access system is planned.The main electrical wiring and main equipment selection,total plane and distribution equipment,lightning protection and grounding,power and lighting,fire and SF6 alarm are planned and designed in the first order system of the substation.Next,on the basis of design scheme of the first order system of Jiangwei 110 kV smart substation,the scheme of the relay protection system configuration is planned and designed,and the secondary equipment cabinet of relay protection is arranged.The configuration scheme of110 kV line protection,110 kV Busbar protection,110 kV Busite protection,10 kV line protection and main transformer protection are mainly designed.The relay protection is arranged in thespacer and process layer and other parts of the secondary order system.The requirements of the relay protection system to the related specialties are also explained.Finally,the commissioning and verification of the first order system and relay protection of Jiangwei 110 kV smart substation are carried out.Taking 110 kV GIS and main grounding grid as an example,the system is debugged,and 110 kV GIS is tested for partial discharge and AC voltage resistance and the AC parameters are tested for the main grounding grid.Taking the main transformer protection and 10 kV line protection as an example,the relay protection system is verified.
