Firstly,the research background of switched reluctance generators is introduced in this paper,and the research status of switched reluctance generators in structure parameters optimization and control parameters optimization are summarized.The basic design requirements of the switched reluctance generator are given.According to the empirical formula,the initial size of the switched reluctance generator is determined,and the process of establishing the switched reluctance generator model by the finite element software is introduced.Secondly,three optimization objectives are determined.The sensibilities of three optimization objectives to different structure parameters are analyzed.A multi-objective optimization scheme based on multi attribute decision making is adopted,and the pretreatment method of the optimization objectives is introduced.A new fuzzy optimization algorithm to determine weight coefficients is constituted.Then,the performance of the initial switched reluctance generator and the optimized switched reluctance generator are compared.Compared with the existing methods,the proposed multi-objective optimization method has many advantages,such as the weight coefficient considering both subjectivity and objectivity,the simple and convenient optimization process,and the accurate optimization results.Thirdly,according to the optimized switched reluctance generator,a switched reluctance generator control system is established.The multi-objective control parameters optimization of switched reluctance generator under current chopping control is conducted.The effect of control parameters on the optimization objectives is analyzed in simulation.And the turn-on angle and turn-off angle combinations under the single optimization and multi-objective optimization is obtained.A function of optimal angle on the reference current and speed is training,and the correctness of the function is verified in different speed and reference current by the simulation.Finally,the accuracy of the finite element simulation model is validated by comparing the flux linkage on the prototype and finite element software on four special positions.The accuracy of switched reluctance generator control system is validated by comparing the phase current on the platform and Matlab/simulink simulation model.The proposed multi-objective control parameters optimization strategy is operated by experimental platform.The experimental results show that the proposed function can be effectively applied to the switched reluctance generator control system.When the speed and the reference current change,the corresponding optimal turn-on angle and turn-off angle can be successfully found.And by comparing the range of three single objective optimizations and multi-objective optimization,it is verified that multi-objective optimization method can effectively improve the performance of SRG in middle and low speed.
