Research On The Influence Of XBRL On The Quality Of Accounting Information

With the rapid development of economy the social economy has gradually completed the transformation of informatization and intelligence and informatization has become the main driving force of economic development.Accounting informatization has also replaced the original form of accounting and become an important part of national informatization.The Extensible Business reporting language(-XBRL)is the accounting informatization standard stipulated by the Ministry of Finance of our country.XBRL was first put forward by Charles Hoffman of the United States and then XBRL was widely used all over the world.Both the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange have built XBRL platforms if the XBRL Can become the future direction of development so what will be the impact on the quality of accounting information? This paper not only makes a comprehensive and systematic analysis in theory but also studies its influence on the quality of accounting information by combining it with the first batch of GuangShen Railway which has carried out the first XBRL pilot project in China.This paper first describes the research background and significance of XBRL summarizes the research results at home and abroad by using the method of literature research and briefly reviews the related research results secondly summarizes the theory of XBRL through normative research.The characteristics of accounting information quality are described and the influence of XBRL on the quality of accounting information is analyzed theoretically.Case study method is used to analyze the practical application of GuangShen Railway.The paper studies the accounting information quality of GuangShen Railway based on XBRL financial report by using the method of event research.The result shows that the application of GuangShen Railway XBRL is beneficial to the Committee.Finally some suggestions on how to improve the quality of accounting information under XBRL standard are put forward.
