With the rapid development of science and technology and the continuous improvement of people's living standards,the detection of fluorescence phenomena and fluorescence lifetime has become more and more important in the fields of physical and chemical research,biomedicine,geological exploration,agriculture,medicine,and ecological and environmental protection.The research of fluorescence lifetime detection system can greatly promote the rapid development of physics,chemistry,biology,medicine and other disciplines.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out multi-channel fluorescence lifetime detection system under temperature control conditions.For the fluorescence lifetime detection of typical materials under variable temperature environment,a fluorescence lifetime detection system is designed to achieve the detection of the fluorescence lifetime of typical laser materials.This paper analyzes and studies the theory of fluorescence excitation and fluorescence lifetime.In the paper,a time-resolved fluorescence lifetime detection system is designed,based on the existing fluorescence lifetime detection method.The system mainly includes high-power LEDs,an FPGA,a single-chip microcomputer,cooperative peripheral circuits,and mechanical mechanisms.The high-power LEDs are used as light sources.FPGAs are used as data acquisition cores.Single-chip microcomputers are used as control cores.And peripheral circuits and mechanical mechanisms are coordinated with others.Through optical system design,circuit design,software program design,a fluorescence lifetime detection system that can be flexibly exchanged for 3 source illumination,a temperature range of ±30°C at room temperature,and time resolution of not less than 20 ns was developed.In order to verify the feasibility of the system,the fluorescence lifetime of the ruby laser crystal was tested with this system,and the result of the fluorescence lifetime of the ruby sample at different temperatures shows that the system is feasible.The system can complete the test of various solid materials' fluorescence life characteristics under different wavelengths excitation,fluorescence lifetime greater than 200 ns,and different temperature environments.And the system can also provide test methods for the study of the fluorescence lifetime of various materials.
