Under the trend of economic globalization,resources have a vital role to play in the development of a country.There is a large amount of water resources in China,and water resources play an important role in China's economic development.The rational and effective development of water resources can ensure the sustainable development of the national economy.In the development of water resources utilization,the operation of reservoirs is a direct reflection of the use of water resources.Reservoir regulation bears the need for flood control,power generation,peaking,and water supply.There are interrelationships among various requirements,coordination,and constraints.Decision makers need to balance the relationships among them to determine the optimal goal.The optimal operation of reservoirs has always been a hotly debated topic,from the development of the single-objective optimal reservoir scheduling to the current multiobjective optimal reservoir scheduling.In particular,research on multi-targets has developed rapidly in recent years.The problem of reservoir scheduling itself involves many aspects.This paper summarizes the model functions that have so far been common,and classifies the objective functions according to the needs of benefits,and divides them into social benefits,economic benefits,and ecological benefits.This makes the objective function more clearly applicable to reservoir scheduling.At the same time,this paper introduces three models commonly used for reservoir dispatch,power generation guarantee output model,power generation and supply model,and power generation ecological model.Take the Three Gorges Hydropower Station as an example to solve the above three models.This article first elaborates on multi-objective problems,and discusses multi-objective problems from two aspects: multi-attribute decision-making and multi-objective decisionmaking.From the perspective of the overall decision-making approach to the realization of several decision-making methods,the multi-attribute problem is introduced in detail.According to the model's solution method,the decision-making methods of multi-attribute decision-making are divided into relationship model and function model.The multiobjective decision-making problem mainly introduces some conceptual problems involved in multi-objective problems and several optimization algorithms commonly used to solve multi-objective decision-making problems.The powerful global search capability of differential evolution algorithm,potential parallelism,robustness,universality,etc.Multiobjective optimization.Finally,the three models of reservoir scheduling were applied to the Three Gorges Hydropower Station.Finally,the differential evolution algorithm was used to solve the model,which proved the feasibility and efficiency of the model and algorithm.This paper summarizes the basic ideas for solving a multi-objective model and the application of multi-objective optimization in reservoir scheduling.
