Tank gun control system is an important guarantee for giving full play to tank firepower and improving combat capability. The high-power digital AC all electric gun control system is the development trend of modern tank gun control system. This paper studies tank gun control system based on Active Disturbance Rejection Control(ADRC),focusing on the dynamic response and disturbance rejection capability.First, the overall structure of the high-power digital AC all electric gun control system is designed.According to the special demands, specific requirements for the driving motor are put forward. The double-mode double-loop control structure is finally adopted.Next,a mathematical model of gun control system is established, and a classical threeloop controller is designed.Based on the detailed analysis of the driving motor, the mathematical model of gun control system is built. While designing the current, speed and position loop, the reason of slow response of the three-loop control structure is analyzed. Then, the ADRC controller is designed, relying on the double-mode double-loop structure. The ADRC is adopted to improve the capability of disturbance rejection since nonlinear factors have restricted the further improvement of the system performance.Meanwhile, controllers are switched according to the operation mode.An inertia identifier based on Model Reference Adaptive Control(MRAC)is designed to enhance the robustness of gun control system to the change of inertia. Finally, simulation analysis and preliminary experiments are carried out.The results show that the ADRC controller can not only meet the requirements of aiming and stabilizing, but also improve the capability of disturbance rejection of the system.
