Abstract/Summary:
Large diameter belled pile is a new pile type in recent years,has been widely applied in all kinds of large construction projects,has good bearing capacity,bigger pile stiffness,smaller subsidence,etc.In practical engineering,pile foundation is not only to bear on large vertical load,also unavoidable to bear larger horizontal load,the stress of the pile foundation properties become more complicated,moreover,the interaction between pile soil is more complex,there are many influence factors.therefore,it is urgent to study the working characters of belled pile under horizontal load.At present,the research of the pile on the level bearing properties has been relatively mature,and there are also more research results on the vertical force characteristics of the belled pile,however,there are relatively few researches on the bottom pile with horizontal load.The research of the belled pile with horizontal load is relatively less.In order to comprehensive understanding the working characters of the Large diameter belled pile and the interaction characteristics of the pile and soil under horizontal load,This paper combines indoor model test and numerical simulation,The following work has been done:(1)This paper introduces the lateral load-bearing mechanism and failure properties of the pile,introduces the lateral load-bearing characteristics research achievements and research status at home and abroad of expanding belled pile.(2)Make large diameter belled model pile and straight pile model,carry out the indoor model test of horizontal bearing capacity,according to the results of the model test,analysis the The stress deformation characteristics of the expanding belled pile and straight pile under horizontal load,and compared and analyzed the performance of two types of piles.(3)use ABAQUS the finite element software,After verifying the correctness of the model,established the belled pile and straight pile model with different parameter sizes to research the lateral load bearing capacity,analysis the influence of pile length on the transverse force deformationcharacteristics of the belled pile and straight pile,analysis of the influence of different diameter of bottom expansion on transverse force characteristics of belled pile.(4)Introduced commonly used "m" method in the elastic theory,combined with model test data,using the "m" method to calculate the bearing capacity of large diameter expanding belled pile,and study the applicability of m value.Analysis and discusses how to determine the value of m under large displacement conditions.
