Loess Slope Crack And Its Influence On Slope Stability

Loess landslide is one of the most serious geological disasters in loess area.The instability of loess slope poses great threat to the safety of people’s lives and property,and brings great economic losses.Therefore,more and more attention has been paid to the study of loess slope stability.There are many reasons for the failure of loess slope.The Loess Slope fracture is one of them.The formation and expansion of fractures is a necessary process for the development of loess landslides.Therefore,the study of loess slope fracture is of great practical significance.In this paper,the fracture of loess slope and its influence on the slope stability are studied by theoretical analysis,numerical simulation,excavation slots and practical projects.The main research results of this paper are as follows:(1)Through consulting a lot of data and literature,the main causes of loess slope cracks are summarized as follows:Loess vertical joints,slope unloading cracks and loess structural joints.The basic characteristics and mechanism of formation are discussed in detail.(2)Based on the extended finite element method based on ABAQUS,the development law of the unloading cracks on the slope is studied,and the development law of the slope cracks is obtained.Based on the extended finite element method based on ABAQUS,the development law of the unloading cracks on the slope is studied,and the development law of the slope cracks is obtained.(3)Using the strength reduction method,the effects of vertical fissures and slanting cracks on the stability of the slope are studied respectively.It is found that the slope stability coefficient decreases more seriously because of the existence of the fissure,and it changes regularly with the distance from the crack to the tableland,the depth of the crack,the tendency of the crack and the angle of the dip and so on.(4)Based on actual engineering Bailuyuan stone family landslide as an example.By means of excavation adit,the surface and internal cracks of the slope are investigated in detail.The promotion effect of cracks on the landslide is studied,and the failure mode of the slope is obtained under the condition of cracks...
