The short-pylon cable-stayed bridge is a kind of newly bridge structure which developed in recent 30 years.It's a kind of composite bridge between continuous beam bridge(continuous rigid-frame bridge)and conventional cable-stayed bridge,which means it has the structural characteristics of both continuous beam bridge(continuous rigid-frame bridge)and conventional cable-stayed bridge and fills the gap of reasonable span.It is a kind of bridge structure that has good developing foreground.This kind of bridge is generally used as an important highway or municipal bridge.Therefore,the seismic performance of the large span pylon cable-stayed bridge should be fully studied because China lies on the earthquake zone.It is absolutely essential to study the nonlinear elastic-plastic seismic response of the short-pylon cable-stayed bridge under earthquake in this paper.The paper hopes to provide some references for practical engineering design.Oujiang bridge,a multi-short-pylon cable-stayed bridge,is discussed as an engineering example in this paper.With the help of Midas/civil 2015(finite element software)the finite element model of oujiangte river bridge is built.Firstly,this paper compares the dynamic characteristics of two finite element models one is under the interaction of pile-soil and the other is not.Then,under the effect of E1 earthquake,elastic adopting spectrum analysis and elastic dynamic time-history analysis of the bridge are carried out.The results of the two calculation methods are comparatively analyzed.Similarly,the elastic dynamic time-history analysis and nonlinear elastic-plastic dynamic time-history analysis under the effect of E2 earthquake are carried out.The results of two calculation methods are compared and analyzed.Finally,according to the geological conditions and topographic conditions of the location of Oujiangte river bridge,this paper studies the influence of traveling wave effect and elevation difference of bridge pier on the elastic-plastic analysis.
