Toilet is an indispensable infrastructure in urban public environmental activities.It is directly related to whether the physiological needs of people in urban life can be met.It is an important manifestation of the development of urban civilization.With the rapid development of urbanization in China,there are many problems in the construction of latrines in public environment,which still need to be improved and improved.With the increase of urban public infrastructure,the number of latrines in the public environment increases rapidly,the layout tends to be reasonable,and the class is divided.However,with the development of the city,the demand of city image is not satisfied with the general functional use of latrines.which has inspired the author's innovative research on toilet design in public environment.In the form of data reference,field investigation and interview,the author studies and compares the toilets in the public environment at home and abroad,analyzes the cases of toilet design with foreign characteristics,and summarizes the principles and strategies of its design.It guides the design of special toilet in public environment.According to the city orientation,cultural characteristics,folk customs and other aspects,it designed the characteristic toilet creative culture.From the aspects of building modeling innovation,function detail consideration,enhancing humanistic concern,saving energy and environmental protection idea,serving the crowd differently,highlighting the city culture characteristic,the new image of the characteristic toilet in the public environment is molded.Better realize the function of serving the society.Some researchers have done a lot of research on the historical evolution of toilets,category research,grade standards and so on.Through the accumulation of the predecessors,the author stands on the shoulders of the giant,thinks independently in the design research,completes the scheme design of the public environment characteristic toilet,which provides a new research direction for the "toilet revolution",and adds new vitality for the development of the city.
