Remote sensing monitoring of wheat biomass is to monitor the growth of wheat by remote sensing technology, the main purpose of which is to realize real-time monitoring and management of crops by means of modern science and technology. At present, remote sensing monitoring which has been applied successfully in many fields such as forest fire monitoring, forest biomass inversion and land subsidence has become one of the hot issues in the field of remote sensing. In biomass retrieval, two or more remote sensing images of the target area need to be registered, fused, filtered and classified to obtain the image information of the target research area. Therefore,it is of great significance to extract the biophysical information of regional objects accurately and efficiently.Firstly, this paper focus on the remote sensing image registration from remote sensing image processing. The application of remote sensing image requires image registration, such as image fusion, change detection and image DEM extraction, etc.Because of the particularity of remote sensing image. Therefore the feature-based image registration is widely used in remote sensing image registration, which greatly reduces computational complexity through converting the image analysis into the analysis of a certain feature of the image. In this paper, the classical SIFT and SURF feature registration algorithms are studied. In the meanwhile,an improved remote sensing image registration algorithm based on Harris-SURF operator is also proposed, whose improved remote sensing image registration accuracy of optical remote sensing image and synthetic aperture image is up to 90 percent and which has a strong feasibility.Secondly, the registered image is fused and classified. At present, the single optical data is difficult to meet the needs of crop biomass inversion and crop recognition research. Therefore, the application of optical and microwave remote sensing fusion technology has become a new way to improve the biological parameter inversion of crops and the accuracy of different crop identification.Remote sensing data fusion can play the advantage of multi-source remote sensing data to a great extent.the spectral and backscatter features of different objects better, and improve classification accuracy. It can also make use of the fusion of optical and radar data to better make up for the shortage of optical data and to improve the recognition accuracy of ground objects. Finally, the correlation coefficient between the different biological parameters and the yield was obtained by analyzing the correlation between the remote sensing data and the actual yield data, and then the effect of different biological parameters on wheat yield was analyzed. The results showed that the sensitivity of NDV1*RVI to biomass remained stable during the growth period of wheat.
