Research On The Application Of Non-linear Thinking In Landscape Space

With the development of non-linear science,the emergence of non-linear way of thinking not only makes people re-understand the nature of the world,but also breaks the inherent modes of thinking in the landscape design field.The non-linear way of thinking is not only a revival in the traditional way of thinking,an integration of new trends,but also provides a new way of thinking for landscape planning and design.This paper mainly introduces the non-linear way of thinking and its related theories and methods into the landscape field,and realizes the new fusion of non-linear thinking and landscape space.The spatial space under the non-linear way of thinking emphasizes the logical relationship during the design process and it is not a simple expression of form.On the basis of theoretical research,this study focuses on the application of non-linear thinking in landscape planning and design,landscape space,and morphological changes.This paper takes the "landscape design of Xiaomeisha Coastal Zone in Yantian District of Shenzhen City" as an example,and creates a dynamic non-linear flow space from different perspectives based on the limiting factors of the site.And finally,this paper has achieved the purpose of theory guide practices,and summarizes its application research,and pointed out its limitations.In addition,in the whole design process,the design focuses on combining new thinking way and information technology together to create a new waterfront landscape space form that is different from the traditional ones using new design thinking.Non-linear thinking is the content based on the thinking level,hence it is bound to break the traditional mode of thinking in landscape design of the comprehensive content,and makes changes in a creative thinking level.The construction of landscape space in the non-linear way of thinking is not only limited to satisfying people’s demand for spatial function,but also emphasizes the characteristics of space mobility,randomness and unpredictability during the design process.In addition,this study solves the ecological,living environment,landscape aesthetics and other issues through creating a variety of venues and diversified landscape experience.This paper summarizes the non-linear way ofthinking theory and its application in landscape space construction,as well as in epistemology and methodology,which has a certain model significance to the field of landscape design.
