The high-voltage overhead power supply line is the main mode of power transmission. To ensure its safe and reliable operation is of great significance to all aspects of China's economic development, social stability and technological innovation. In this paper, aiming at the short circuit and the difficulty of accurate positioning of grounding faults in the course of operation of high-voltage overhead lines,a method for detecting short circuits and ground faults of high-voltage power supply lines is proposed. The corresponding detection circuit is designed and completed;at the same time, the installation position of the fault detection device is also determined. The characteristics of the design of the two high-voltage line power circuit designed to achieve the online charging of fault detection terminal to ensure the reliable operation of the system;combined with the spatial distribution characteristics of high-voltage power supply lines, using Zigbee technology, through the formation of a network of independent network structure to achieve The lowpower,long-distance,and high-reliability wireless transmission of fault detection signals greatly reduces the operating cost of the system.Using the SQL server database and VB.NET program development tools, the high-voltage power line fault segmentation PC software is developed. The software, based on Framework 4.5,uses C/S architecture to achieve segmentation and sound and light alarms for short-circuit faults and ground faults. It also completes data storage, query, and reporting functions. The fault segmentation system of the high voltage power supply line proposed in this paper will effectively shorten the troubleshooting time of the power supply line, reduce the work intensity of the line inspection workers, and reduce the economic losses of the power supply enterprises and users.
