The Chinese Meaning Of Traditional Shan-shui Garden To Construction Of Sponge City

In western history,Howard's Garden City,Le Corbusier's Bright City,Wright's Broadacre City and other urban theories and urban prototypes were put forward,recently the west proposed the concept and theory of the Sponge City.In the history of China,Shan-shui City was the only urban theory and urban prototype with Chinese characteristics proposed by Qian Xuesen.At present,the concepts of "Sponge City" and "Shan-shui City" prevail in Chinese urban construction.The construction of Sponge City is growing vigorously.However,academician Meng Zhaozhen published the "Implementing Building Chinese Characteristics Cities with Shan-shui City” on the twelfth of " Chinese Landscape Architecture” in 2016,explicitly put forward that Shan-shui City is urban planning concept with Chinese characteristics,is the ideal of urban construction in the history of China and the ultimate goal of the development of Chinese cities.The relationship of Sponge City and Shan-shui City should become the focus of academic circles,and it also related to the ideological orientation of the conceptual strategic planning goals of China's future urban development.This paper starts with the basic concept,and starts from the perspective of general landscape architecture,and takes Shan-shui garden,Shan-shui City and Sponge City as the research objects.By studying the concept,background,construction goal and the significance,construction experience of Sponge Citiy in the developed countries,this paper analyzes the related concepts of Shan-shui City,theory system,background,the formation process,the essential connotation and the construction practice of Shan-shui Citiy,analyzes the relationship between Sponge Citiy and Shan-shui Citiy in order to find out urban planning concept that guides the direction of China's future urban development.This paper mines original philosophy of Shan-shui City,Shan-shui Living Culture and ecological wisdom,illustrates that the Shan-shui City,Shan-shui Garden and Shan-shui Architecture in Chinese history belong to the material carrier bearing the cultureof Chinese Garden by virtue of examples.Combining with the analysis of Beijing Yuquan water system,Hangzhou West Lake,the Old Summer Palace,Hangzhou Xixi wet land,Beijing Botanical Garden,Beijing Olympic forest park and other cases,this paper points out that the landscape of traditionally landscape gardens assumes the function of "sponge" well.This paper points out that the Shan-shui Architecture,Shan-shui City,Shan-shui Garden can carry the function of Sponge City,and the traditional Shan-shui Garden can be used as an important carrier for the construction of Sponge City.Combined with traditional garden styles and the modern science and technology of "sponge",digging lakes and piling mountains in low-lying place,not only can effectively control the rainwater runoff,guarantee the rainwater storage and infiltration,also create a beautiful landscape scenery.Landscape system that digs lakes and piles mountains of traditional Chinese gardens can build "sponge body" of Sponge City--river,lake,pond and other water system;in turn,the construction of Sponge City can also provide technical support for the traditional Chinese garden system.The two have mutually reinforcing relationships,demonstrating the significance of the landscape system to the construction of Sponge City with Chinese characteristics.From technology and art,material and spirit,form and function,science and culture,eurytopic and regionality,phase and the ultimacy,this paper distinguishes the relationship between the Shan-shui City and Sponge City,points out that the Sponge City is a single function concept based on the western contemporary ecology concept,while the Shan-shui City is a comprehensive urban concept reflecting the comprehensive meaning of Chinese history,culture,philosophy,place spirit,land nature and national identity.It is a Shan-shui Living Culture bearing the Chinese national Shan-shui Poetry,Shan-shui Painting and Shan-shui City.It points out that building a Shan-shui City is the future direction of Chinese cities.The analysis concludes:1.Sponge City solves the ecological problem and is the survival technology;the Shan-shui City solves the dual problems of technology and culture,is the combination of science and art,and is the combination of art and craft.2.The Sponge City is a material aspect and is a technical measure taken to satisfy the survival of mankind;while the Shan-shui City is a double layer of material and spiritual,a combination of material and spiritual.3.Sponge City is merely a function and does not have a beautiful form;Shan-shui City not only has functions,but also represent an advanced aesthetic form.In the form ofShan-shui Garden,we will carry the functions of a sponge city and build a sponge city with Chinese socialist characteristics.4.From the perspective of landscape architecture,green land not only has ecological functions but also carries multiple meanings such as history,culture,and spirit.The Sponge City is of Chinese Garden to the construction of cities with Chinese characteristics in the future.6.Sponge City is a “phased” achievement in the development of Shan-shui City.Shan-shui City is the ultimate goal of urban development in China.Constructing a Sponge City in this place in China,applying the landscape shape with the connotation of landscape and water is the best choice for the construction of
