In recent years, with the rapid development of the automobile industry, the incidence of traffic accidents is increasing, and road congestion is becoming more and more serious, which cause significant harm to people's lives and property.Although many countries and regions have promulgated many traffic regulations, automobile manufacturers also strive to improve the safety performance of vehicles, but the overall situation is still not optimistic. Therefore, more and more experts and researchers have shifted their focus to the study of Vehicular Ad-hoc Network(VANET).At the same time,ITS(Intelligent Transportation System)to achieve intelligent transportation system is also a hot topic at present. The technology mainly complied with the standard of communication protocol. It carries out wireless communication and information interaction between vehicle and vehicle(Vehicle-to-Vehicle,V2V)and between vehicle and infrastructure(Vehicle-to-Infrastructure,V2I).For example, the information of position coordinates, speed, direction and so on.Although the development of intelligent transportation is in full swing, there is still no product-level terminals of VANET on the market. At present, most researchers are devoted to the design and implementation of an anti-collision safety algorithm based on the WAVE protocol stack, which is used for the VANET terminal. On the basis of fully understanding the communication mechanism of WAVE protocol stack, and analyzing the proposed anti-collision safety algorithm, this paper implements three safety algorithms:intersection collision avoidance, forward cooperative anti-collision and left turn assistant. The implementation of these algorithms is mainly based on short distance communication between vehicles, transmitting Basic Safety Messages(BSMs)to play an early warning effect The main work of this paper is as follows:1.The proposed traffic safety collision avoidance algorithm is modeled to summarize the limitations of the algorithm.Firstly,in terms of applicability, whether the algorithm can be applied to a variety of junctions or lanes.Secondly,in terms of performance and efficiency, considering the running time and space size of the algorithm on the ARM,whether to meet the low latency and fast data processing in actual road communication. Finally,in the robustness, the communication between vehicles is dense in complex road situations, and whether the algorithm can still handle the huge data stably and accurately.2.Based on the application scenario of the security application set in the SAE-J2735 standard, three new anti-collision security application algorithms are designed and implemented in this paper. These algorithms take full account of various scenarios in actual traffic and have strong applicability. The algorithm has a clear design idea and a small amount of computation, and can run rapidly on the terminal to meet the needs of low latency. The algorithm has no additional aid to other complex machine equipment,so the algorithm is less expensive and has a strong stability. In addition, this paper carries out simulation experiments on the anti collision algorithm at the PC end to demonstrate the availability and accuracy of the algorithm.3.Based on the full understanding of the communication mechanism and messaging mechanisms, following the protocols and standards set up by IEEE in the WAVE stack,we aim to develop a vehicle terminal product,we aim to develop a vehicle-mounted terminal product that enables real-time communication between vehicles and assists driver safety driving.Combined with the user experience and functional requirements of vehicle terminals, this paper designs the layout of vehicle terminal interface and implements the operation interface with QT programming. Finally, the interface program is successfully transplanted to the development board equipped with Ubuntu system.
