With the continuous developing of modern society and the increasing level of people’s living standards,the demand for continuous power supply in the power system is also increasing,it is a higher requirement for power system power supply technology.With the continuous progress of technology,In some important areas,there is higher demand for continuous power supply.Even a short time of power failure will bring immeasurable loss to the society.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the self healing technology of power distribution lines to reduce the failure of power outage and to shorten the time of power outage.This paper starts with the comparison of different types of feeder automation implementations,and analyzes the significance of distributed feeder automation in solving the short-circuit power failure of distribution lines and improving the reliability of power supply.Then the basic structure of distributed feeder automation and the operation mechanism under normal operation,the fault detection and processing technology of distribution lines under fault condition are studied.,we construct a objective evaluation function for the quality of fault self-healing,and solving the weight coefficient of important index.The main of work in this paper has the following points:(1)Analysis the operate mode of distribution feeder automation and the process of fault self-healing,and the method to identify and update the topology structure of the distribution line is also studied.(2)Studied the detection technology and positioning technology in distribution line under open loop and closed loop,analysis and studied the detection technology in short circuit fault and grounding fault.(3)Analysis the important factor that can influence the quality of distribution line self-healing.The target evaluation function is constructed by combining the five indexes which have a decisive influence on the self healing quality of the fault and separately give the corresponding weight index,then solve the weight index to get a concrete number by analytic hierarchy process.This paper has got following research achievement:(1)Summing up the main index factor that can influence distribution line self-healing quality,by select five important index from numerous index factor and simplify the evaluate function from past literature,thus reduce the workload of theevaluation of self healing quality.(2)Calculate the weight coefficient of every evaluate index,and make the constructed object evaluate function can reflect the fault self-healing quality of distributed line objectively.
