Education is an important foundation for the country's prosperity. In recent years, more and more colleges and universities are constructing new campuses. How to design a reasonable campus plan and a suitable campus environment is an issue that every designer should pay attention to.In campus planning and design, the campus surrounding environment design is in the "dual boundary" of urban planning and design and campus planning and design. It is often overlooked by designers. As a result, the surrounding commercial space of colleges and universities is an important component of the campus' s own functional service facility system. It not only fails to function fully and effectively, but also causes inconvenience for college students to make shopping trips.Must be negatively affected. So how to create a good space with positive influence is a problem. This article introduces Huang Shimeng's concept of “invisible campus” and targets the new and old campuses of two universities.First of all, through behavior observation to understand the characteristics and problems of commercial space in the invisible campus.Afterwards,a detailed analysis of student's consumption was conducted through questionnaire survey. At the same time, with the help of satisfaction survey,we can provide reference for the following regulatory strategies and construction models. Then through the circle analysis method, the four sample campuses were analyzed from the four aspects of consumption activities, spatial layout, business composition, and demand structure, and the layout characteristics and laws and the similarities and differences between old and new campuses were obtained. Finally, based on the above analysis results, according to the status quo of the four campuses,we put forward adjustment opinions and strategies for the “invisible campus” commercial space in each campus.Summing up a good quality college campus "invisible campus" business space, the proportion of demand for business space, the ideal layout of the empty layout and the rational distribution of the various circles and other ideals of the surrounding commercial space construction model.
