Soft soil subgrade had a great impact in the process of engineering construction.The stability of roadbed during the process of construction and aperation couldn’t reach requirement if there was improper handling,most likely made pavement damage,and even lead to the occurrence of major accidents.In order to provide guarantee for highway engineering construction,it is necessary to optimize soft foundation treatment method,especially against the research of settlement deformation monitoring and settlement prediction method.In this paper,based on Huanggang to Ezhou highway subgrade engineering and combined with the MIDAS/GTS which was the finite element numerical simulation software,were used to predict the post-construction settlement of subgrade,and in view of the existing single forecasting method was not accurate enough,and couldn’t fit for long-term stability monitoring,the paper came up with combined the hyperbolie method and three-point method,composite pattern model,settlement deformation of soft soil foundation settlement prediction,for highway engineering safety and operational stability of roadbed during the construction period provides an important reference.The main research results were as follows:(1)Summarized the deformation mechanism of roadbed settlement of expressway soft soil and analyzed the existing problems in the settlement calculation method.First of all,from the perspective of the mechanism of deformation of soil,the deformation of mechanism and characteristic of the foundation settlement were introduced,and then research the settlement of highway soft soil subgrade deformation influence factor,development trend and the theoretical calculation method,construct foundation for make the settlement observation schemes and study subsidence prediction model.(2)According to practical engineering geological characteristics,present the expressway soft deformation observation of soil roadbed settlement.Describes the highway roadbed settlement observation technology,grade of subgrade settlement deformation observation standard layout and quantity,the principle of settlement observation data acquisition frequency,route of settlement measurement,the requirements of the relevant settlement observation.(3)Study on the post-construction settlement by use of MIDAS/GTS finite element numerical calculation method.Used the finite element numerical analysis method to fill during the settlement of the theoretical calculation,analysis and comparing with the measured values,it was concluded that this method in the applicability of the soft soil roadbed settlement forecast,and pointed out the shortcomings.(4)Study on the predict of post-construction settlement of subgrade by using the hyperbola combined with three-point method model.Research on prediction technique based on the measured data,the establishment of the minimum error method and the principle of weighted hyperbola with three point method of combination forecast model,compared with the predictions of a single model analysis,study its applicability in roadbed settlement forecast of expressway soft soil.
