With the requirements of the whole hoisting operation in the fields of construction,electric power construction,military industry and aerospace,the crane boom has been developed towards large-scale,high-rise,flexible and complicated.In order to increase the lifting height and working range,the structure of the crane boom has also been gradually evolved from a single boom to a complex combination of boom forms.For example,the boom of the all-terrain crane was a typical combination boom structure,that used in the installation of wind power equipment.As the important bearing component of all-terrain crane,the combined boom can determine the performance of All-terrain crane with its dynamic characteristics.In order to improve work efficiency,the crane often carried out the composite movement among three basic movements of lifting,turning and luffing.In order to truly reflect the actual working state of the jib during the compound movement,the dynamic characteristics of the jib must be studied.Therefore,the study on the dynamic characteristics of the composite motion of the all-terrain crane combined boom has important theoretical and engineering practical significance.Based on the muti-body system dynamics theory and the equivalent moment of inertia method,this paper makes use of the APDL language to build the combined boom and analyze the composite boom.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Taking the typical all-terrain crane combined boom as the research object.According to the method of equivalent moment of inertia,the lattice structure of the combined boom was converted into a real abdominal structure.Extracted the required data based on a simplified model,discussed the unit arm and unit connection problems of the jib.Finally,the combined boom system is modeled in the APDL language.(2)With multi-body dynamics software ADAMS as a platform,the rigid body model of all-terrain crane combined boom system was proposed.On the basis of this,the kinematics simulation of two kinds of compound motion such as luffing and turning was obtained,and got the results of the displacement,velocity and acceleration response of the combined boom system.(3)By using the finite element software ANSYS APDL language,the transient dynamics analysis model of the all-terrain crane combined boom was established,and the first eight natural frequencies and modes of the combined boom were analyzed.Which will lay the foundation for the dynamic analysis of the combined boom.The dynamic response of the flexible combined boom under the condition of luffing and revolving composite motion was studied.The results of the flexible dynamic response were compared with the results of the rigid body dynamic analysis.The results showed that based on APDL modeling,the efficiency of dynamic analysis of combined boom is effectively improved..At the same time,The simulation analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the composite motion truly reflects the motion state of the boom and can provide the necessary technical support for the design calculation and optimization analysis of the all-terrain crane combined boom structure.
