In this paper, using wood residues to prepare high lignin content pulp content molding packaging materials, and its mechanical properties were studied.Based on the research on the preparation technology of pulp molding packaging materials, the pulping method and molding process of poplar residue HYP were determined. The materials were prepared under high temperature and pressure condition. The results show that under different conditions, the tensile and bending properties of the HYP molding packaging materials are better than those of CP and WPP materials. Finally, the formation mechanism of fiber bond strength of HYP molding materials was investigated by chemical composition analysis, microstructure analysis and performance comparison experiment of different lignin content pulp molding materials.Using WPP for pre-experimental,to determine the material preparation process,to identify problems and solve. The effect of temperature and pressure on the properties of HYP molding materials was studied by single factor experiment. The results showed that under the conditions of 170? and 4.5 MPa,the HYP molding material has the best tensile and bending properties. The tensile strength is 86.6 MPa,the tensile index is 88.2 N-m/g,the flexural strength is 114.8 MPa,Modulus 7 710 MPa.and are better than CP,WPP materials.Through validation experiments and compare experiments to determine the experimental process is reproducible, the performance of the HYP molding packaging materials under this process is stable, and compared with CP,hot pressing conditions are more conducive to the improvement of HYP fiber bonding strength. The effects of lignin on the fiber bond strength were investigated by using the different lignin content pulp as the raw material to prepare the molding materials under the optimum conditions. The results showed that the presence of a small amount of lignin contributes to the formation of fiber bonding strength. When the lignin content is 9%,the material has the best tensile property. When the lignin content is 12%,the material has the best bending property,When it is more than 15%,the lignin is attached to the fiber surface, which affects the formation of free hydroxyl groups on the fiber surface, reduces the hydrogen bonding between the fibers, reduces the fiber bonding strength and the material forming effect. The experimental results provide a basis for further revealing the formation mechanism of HYP fibers under hot pressing conditions. It provides theoretical support for improving the mechanical properties of molding materials, expands the application of high lignin content pulp and promotes the development of wood residues.
