The rapid development of the urban economy has promoted the transformation of the old city.The improvement of the urban landscape in the transformation of the old city is one of its important contents.The outdoor advertisement space of urban buildings is an integral part of the urban landscape.However,some cities lack effective planning and management of outdoor advertising spaces,leading to a large number of advertisements,poor production,and unexpected colors.In particular,they do not conform to the line of sight and visual laws,failing to form effective Advertising visual effects.Therefore,the transformation of existing advertising spaces in buildings has also become an important part of the transformation of old cities.This paper first introduces the research background,research objects and research contents of the existing advertising space of the old city buildings,defines the purpose and significance of the research,and sorts out the relevant concepts of the existing advertisement spaces in the old city buildings.Through field surveys and surveys of old cities in different cities,there are problems in the analysis.According to the principles of human visual memory and the best line of sight of the human eye,the visual area and visual effects of advertising are studied.From the perspective of both pedestrians and motorists,the best eye range of the human eye is calculated.Further,the area for setting advertising space in the old city buildings can be calculated,the concept of renovation of the existing advertising space in the old city building,transformation objectives,and transformation principles can be proposed.Finally,the reconstruction method for the existing advertising space in the old city building is proposed.
