| Adult learning needs is the psychological tendency of adult learners to improve their knowledge,which is the basis of learning motivation.Adult learning needs reflects the expectation of adults in learning,which is the evaluation criterion for the value and significance of resource construction.Therefore,before resource construction,it is very important to master the internal driving force of adult learners’ learning activities.From the existing learning resources,on the one hand,the processing of existing learning materials,without deep processing,is a simple list of textbooks.For adult learners with clear learning objectives and learning efficiency,this will undoubtedly aggravate the external cognitive load of adults and hinder learning.On the other hand,the teaching design also follow the learning characteristics of ordinary learners easily,and there are more mechanical memory contents in the content setting,and the logic is not clear.For adults with poor memory,resources obviously cannot meet their learning needs.This thesis mainly discusses the design and development of adult learning resources from the characteristics of adult learning.Taking the course of hydraulic pneumatic technology as an example,the thesis tries to design research and development practice on the section of gear pump.The research of this paper is based on the author’s practice of participating in curriculum resources development in guangzhou distance learning center.On the basis of reading a lot of literatures,the author makes a summary and elaboration on the existing problems in the learning resources.On the one hand,analyse the conflicts between the existing learning resources and the adult learning needs,in addition,the learning habits and cognitive characteristics of the learning resources are not consistent with the learning resources.On the other hand,from the theory of adult learning and cognitive load,discussing the differences between the design of learning resources and the theoretical foundation.On the basis of this,The author analyzes the cognitive characteristics and learning habits of adult learners,discusses the characteristics of adult learning resources,and designs research and development practice on resources.Taking the course of"hydraulic pneumatic technology" as an example,the author,based on the needs of adult learning,conducts design research and development practice on resources under the guidance of cognitive load theory and adult learning theory.In order to confirm the effectiveness of the resource,the author used adult learners as the research object,and the resources were tested in a small scale through the experimental group and the control group.Statistics and analysis will be carried out to ensure the significance and value of this study.This study is mainly carried out in the following six parts.Part 1 is the introduction.The introduction part mainly introduces the background and significance of this research topic,and briefly introduces the target and content of the resources adapted to adult learning,and forms the research framework.Part 2 is literature review.The main contents of this literature review are:cognitive development characteristics of adult learners,current status of adult learning resources,and characteristics of courses.Part 3 is resource design.After the analysis of the cognitive development of adult learners,in terms of adult learners’ practical experience,memory loss,cognitive fatigue and other three main aspects,the author made a resource design for the section of "gear pump" in "hydraulic pneumatic technology" according to adult learning needs.Part 4 is resource development.Based on the resource design of part iii,the author applies the appropriate development tools and practices the resources reasonably.Part 5 is the analysis of application effect.In order to confirm the effectiveness of the resources,we conducted a small-scale trial of the resources and the statistical results,and summarized the trial analysis and concluded the research conclusions.Part 6 the author will give a summary and prospect.This part mainly summarizes the main research work and innovation points of this research,and points out the shortcomings of this study.In view of the research field,the research potential of this research is prospected.This thesis finds that adult learning resources should be constructed to meet the needs of adult learners.Based on the cognitive characteristics and learning habits of adult learners,in view of the learning needs of adults,reasonable design and development of the course content,we can effectively stimulate the learning motivation and improve the learning efficiency and quality of adult learners. |
