Study On Landscape Planning And Design Of Jingzhong Expressway In Gansu Province Based On Regional Culture

At present,the traffic infrastructure construction of China is entering a rapid development stage,especially in highway construction,and the traffic mileage has reached the world second.However,highway landscape planning and design still remain at a relatively undeveloped level.As the saying goes,to get rich first build roads.Under the strong support and investment of the all-leveled administrations of the Chinese government,the construction of highway in Gansu province has been approaching the developed areas.Like most areas in China,the road landscape planning and design is still confronted with many problems: poor site planning design,landscape and architecture lack of regional cultural features,imperfect protection of ecological construction,wasted resources alongside and so on.How to build an exquisite highway of high quality on the basis of providing convenience and comfort,and combined with the local unique cultural features,how to make the highway landscape and local culture complement each other have become heated research focus of highway landscape planning and design nowadays.Based on the study and analysis of the highway landscape design at home and abroad as well as related concepts and theories of regional culture.the thesis has investigated and researched the regional landscape resources along the highway in Gansu province and has carried on the induction summary and characteristics,leading to the formation of the symbolic elements with the regional culture characteristics.It also explored the regional culture element which can be incorporated into the design of highway landscape.Finally it has proposed the design principles of Gansu highway landscape based on the regional culture of Gansu and completed the design scheme of toll stations,service areas,tunnel entrances and medians with characteristics of regional culture.In this paper,the design principle,idea and design method of combining to a certain extent,enrich the landscape design of the highway,the highway natural landscape and human landscape construction has a certain reference value.
