Vehicle collision warning system is of great significance to improve the safety of vehicles.Intelligent vehicle infrastructure cooperative technology as a core technology supporting the development of ITS(Intelligent Traffic System).Apply it reasonably to vehicle collision warning system,compared with the traditional vehicle collision warning system,it has the following advantages: acquired vehicle infrastructure cooperative information is more informative,there is no sense of blind area,dynamic prediction of dangerous vehicle status,not limited by the field of view.Therefore,the paper develops a research on the development of vehicle collision warning system based on intelligent vehicle infrastructure cooperative technology.Based on collected vehicle status information and road environment information,a two-degree-of-freedom dynamic collision time model and a two-degree-of-freedom collision time threshold model based on dynamic prediction of vehicle motion process are proposed,therefore,a hierarchical early-warning strategy was designed and the early-warning system development was completed,and simulation and real vehicle test validation.Specific research content includes:First,a data preprocessing method and process for parameter information collected in vehicle infrastructure cooperative technology are designed,using the advantages of vehicle infrastructure cooperative technology to perceive capabilities,according to the current status information of the collected vehicle and road environment information,by analyzing the motion process before the vehicle collision,and the relative relationship between the vehicle at the collision point and the collision risk release point,the purpose of dynamically predicting the future position and movement state of the vehicle is achieved,a two-degree-of-freedom dynamic collision time model and a two-degree-of-freedom collision time threshold model for solving the collision problem within a certain range of the vehicle plane are proposed and designed.Based on the output parameters of the above model,a two-degree-of-freedom collision warning strategy based on vehicle infrastructure cooperative technology is proposed,and a hierarchical early-warning mechanism is established.A typical working condition and early-warning strategy model was built on the joint simulation platform of VSIM and Matlab/Simulink,and the simulation and verification of the early-warning strategy was completed.Then,based on the analysis of the needs of the vehicle collision warning strategy and system based on the vehicle infrastructure cooperative technology,the overall design of the early-warning system was completed.In terms of hardware,the hardware required for system composition was selected and the connections between the hardware and data transmission methods were designed.In terms of software,according to the idea of layering and modularization,an early-warning software system with high stability,high scalability,and low coupling was designed and written.According to the requirements of the early warning system for the driver's displayed information and warning content at different warning levels,the interface of human-computer interaction software was designed and the development was completed.Finally,the installation of the early-warning system on the experimental vehicle was completed,the performance of DSRC communication equipment MK5 under actual conditions was tested and the results showed that it meets the performance requirements of the early warning system.According to the existing conditions on campus,two kinds of real vehicle test scenarios are designed.They are scenes in which the HV follows the RV in the same lane,and the HV and the RV go to the intersection at the same time.The experimental results show that under the two scenarios,this early-warning system can promptly send warning information to the driver to avoid collision accidents and verify the effectiveness of this early-warning system.
