| Ship propulsion system is the heart of ship motion,its control performance influences speed,mobility,stationarity of the ship directly.Controllable pitch propeller is referred to as CPP.It can adjust the propeller pitch depend on the variation of ship’s operating condition.It is one of the important propulsion plants.CPP propulsion system control propeller’s pitch and rotational speed of the main engine meantime so that proposed an optimized matching and adjust navigational speed better.Thus,CPP has many advantages such as better adaptability of navigating conditions,better mobility and maneuverability,better economical efficiency.As a part of ship automation,CPP mainly reflect in lots of digital technology used in ship automation such as electronic,computer and the replacement of traditional manual adjustment with automatic fine adjustment.Improved the automation level of ship’s control performance greatly.In actual navigation CPP’s many parameters always change with the environmental variation.Because of the ship propulsion motion is a time-varying,nonlinear,interference process,and CPP propulsion system need control propeller’s pitch and the rotational speed of the main engine so that make the system very complex.Thus,it is important to introduce new research tools and efficient research methods.This paper takes a 300 tons fishery administration ship as the research object,builds a CPP propulsion simulation system and use the advantages of intelligent control technology so that have a try to apply control algorithm in ship motion control.Aim at optimizing the comprehensive control performance of propulsion system.The paper’s main content including analyses the propulsion characteristics of CPP,builds CPP propulsion system simulation model,designs two controllers and proofs control effect of the system.Firstly,the paper introduces every part of the CPP propulsion plants and control methods.Analysising the resistance characteristics of ship,the characteristics of diesel engine,the propulsion characteristics of CPP.And research the interactive relation of ship,propeller,diesel engine deeply.Secondly,according to the internal structure of fishery administration ship CPP propulsion system,buliding every part’s math model of the system such as diesel engine subsystem model,CPP subsystem model and pitch control subsystem model.Using Simulink tools box of Matlab software to build simulation models and connect all the subsystems to make a complete CPP propulsion system simulation model.At last,the paper designs a pitch controller of RBF neural network set PID parameters and uses PSO optimize the speed controller of fuzzy control.Then these controllers are usedin designed system.In truth,RBF-PID pitch controller has better control effect than traditional PID pitch controller.And simulating all CPP propulsion system,proofing the fuzzy controller optimized by PSO has better immunity and fastness which can improve the maneuverability of the fishery administration ship greatly. |
