In order to ease the energy crisis, reduce carbon emissions and reduce the number of haze days,Electric vehicle, which has the characteristics of green and high efficiency, will be the latest development direction of the automobile industry. In the same way as other traditional fuel vehicles, the development of electric vehicles is also inseparable from the problem of energy supply. The related research on the planning of electric vehicle charging and changing facilities is of great significance to the development of the electric vehicle industry. In the problem of electric vehicles' charging and changing facilities in city, considering the actual situation of traffic network,a two-step planning for electric vehicles' charging and changing facilities was proposed including centralized charging station and battery changing point.Firstly, electric energy supply methods of the electric vehicles were described, and the advantages and disadvantages of the conventional charging, fast charging, battery changing were analyzed.Basic theories of Monte Carlo simulation method,Voronoi diagram and queuing theory were introduced.Secondly, based on these basic theories,a two-step planning model which thinking about summed costs of investors and EV users was established. The location and capacities of battery changing points are taken as the first step planning, and the location and service ranges of centralized charging stations are taken as the second step planning. At the same time, the constraints and algorithm of the model are introduced. Finally, according to the simulation results of vehicle flow, charging demands, and estimated number of charging and changing services, the proposed planning of charging and changing service facilities for urban electric vehicles is verified after comparison.
